AI transparency
Transparency matters to us – especially when it comes to artificial intelligence (AI). Here we openly explain where and how we use AI on this website and in our work. In doing so, we meet the transparency obligations under Article 50 of the EU AI Act, which apply from 2 August 2026.
Our AI assistant “Nova”
The chat assistant “Nova” on this website is an AI system – so you are chatting with an artificial intelligence, not a human. You can see this directly in the chat window: Nova introduces itself as an AI assistant and is labelled as such throughout.
Nova is based on an AI language model (provided via Cloudflare Workers AI). Its answers are generated automatically and may contain errors or be incomplete. For binding information and personal advice, please talk to our team directly – for example via a free initial consultation or by email to [email protected]. Please do not enter any sensitive personal data in the chat. How your input is processed is described in our privacy notice (section “AI chat assistant”).
AI as a tool in our work
We also use AI as a tool when creating content – for example for research, first drafts or image and video editing. What matters: every result is reviewed, editorially approved and released by a human on our team before it is published. AI provides raw material; quality and editorial responsibility stay with us.
Labelling of AI-generated content
Content that is fully AI-generated and not otherwise clearly recognisable as artificial is labelled accordingly. Purely decorative, obviously stylised illustrations (e.g. our phoenix motif) are recognisable as design elements and do not depict real people or events.
Responsible party
The management of Schmidt Acoustics & Trading GmbH (Sebastian Schmidt, Hans-Joachim Schmidt) is responsible for the editorial review and the labelling of AI use on this website. Questions? Email us at [email protected].
